Baneasa Forest Run te asteapta cu doua curse in nordul Bucurestiului: cros de 11 kilometri si semimaraton. Concursul de alergare are loc pe 4 noiembrie intr-un decor autentic de toamna. Competitia este la a doua editie. Organizatorii intuiesc cifre care sa depaseasca participarea din primavara. Spre 1000 de iubitori de sport si natura sunt asteptati sa alerge pe potecile aurii ale padurii Baneasa.
Mai ai doua sanse sa „testezi” cararile padurii Baneasa inainte de concurs. Antrenamentele Baneasa Forest Run au loc pe 7 si 21 octombrie.

Cum si cand a inceput povestea Baneasa Forest Run?
Povestea Baneasa Forest Run a inceput dupa 6 ani de… Baneasa Trail Run. In 2012, cand m-am apucat de alergat, am participat la o cursa in Padurea Baneasa, in decembrie. Am alergat in zapada si, desi aveam echipament nepotrivit, mi-a placut mult alergarea in padure. Baneasa Trail Run (la vremea acea Baneasa Trail Race) era organizata atunci de Lucian Al Marii. In anul urmator, am intrat in pantofii organizatorului. Lucian nu a mai vrut sa organizeze evenimentul si mi l-a facut cadou. Multumesc, Lucian 🙂! Desi imi suradea ideea organizarii unui astfel de eveniment, in 2013 eu eram inca angajat la corporatie. Am decis sa faca acest eveniment o asociatie, cu ajutor de la mine si de la Lucian Al Marii si echipa lui. Ceea ce s-a si intamplat.
Intre timp, eu am renuntat la corporatie. Am pornit pe cont propriu si mi-a placut ideea de a fi implicat in egala masura cu asociatia in acest proiect. Din pacate, parteneriatul s-a evaporat. Asa a aparut Baneasa Forest Run. Prima editie a avut loc in 29 aprilie si urmatoarea este in 4 noiembrie. Fata de inceputurile Baneasa Trail Run, cand au fost 180, respectiv 350 de participanti, am reusit sa avem peste 700 de inscrisi de la prima editie, cifra pe care o vom depasi cu siguranta pe 4 noiembrie. Chiar daca am pornit de la zero, pentru ca tot ce tinea de Baneasa Trail Run a ramas la asociatie, experienta anilor de corporatie, a editiilor anterioare si a zecilor de evenimente de alergare din tara si in strainatate la care am participat si-au spus cuvantul.
Spune-ne 5 motive pentru care sa te inscrii la Baneasa Forest Run! Ce aduce in plus fata de celelalte competitii care au loc in padurea Baneasa?
Este singura editie cu adevarat de toamna. Cu alergare pe un covor de frunze aurii. Am ales data de 4 noiembrie special pentru asta. Este un eveniment unde alergatorii pot contribui pentru o cauza sociala. Fiecare editie aduce in prim plan o organizatie si o cauza sociala pentru care ii incurajam pe alergatori sa doneze.
Legat de traseu, ar fi de spus faptul ca se alearga invers decat alergam in anii trecuti la Baneasa Trail Run. Iar asta vine cu avantajul ca iti ofera o perspectiva noua asupra padurii (unii dintre alergatori au zis ca e ca si cum alearga in alta padure). In plus, avem 1,4 kilometri de asfalt si inca vreo 600 de metri de poteca lata la inceputul cursei. Distanta este numai buna pentru ca alergatorii sa-si gaseasca locul si sa nu se creeze “ambuteiaje” pe traseu. Starturile sunt si ele putin modificate. Avem startul probei de cros si de semimaraton separat. Am preferat varianta asta si asezarea pe sectoare in functie de timpii declarati la inscriere, pentru a elimina confuzia ca cineva, din alt val, poate ajunge in fata ta in clasament.
Ambele trasee sunt certificate de catre iTRA – Asociatia Internationala de Trail Running: Track Cros iTRA & Track Semimaraton iTRA
Acordam o mare atentie si celorlalte detalii (kit, medalie, puncte hidratare, fotografii, zona start/finish etc.) care formeaza intregul, adica o experienta frumoasa pentru alergatori. Echipa si conceptul acestui eveniment se invart in jurul ideii “alergam de placere”. Ne place sa alergam, sa ne petrecem timpul aproape de natura. Asta ne face pe noi fericiti si vrem sa-i facem si pe altii fericiti.
Cu ce este diferita alergarea in padure fata de cea pe asfalt?
Fiind pe o suprafata mai moale, alergarea in padure nu afecteaza atat de mult articulatiile, asa cum se poate intampla in cazul alergarii pe asfalt. Este o suprafata mai prietenoasa, cea de trail, din padure. La editia din 4 noiembrie va fi un adevarat covor de frunze pe poteci. Acesta este un alt plus, un alt element atenuator pentru articulatiile alergatorilor, care, in acest fel, sunt mai putin solicitate.
Pe de alta parte este nevoie de atentie din partea alergatorilor. In padure sunt radacini de copaci, crengi, denivelari. Traseul este usor virajat… Plusul mare al alergarii in padure este oferit de peisaj. Sa alergi printre copaci, cu peisaje absolut incantatoare, cu culori care se schimba, pe covor de frunze (in cazul editiei de toamna), cu flori si ciripit de pasarele (in cazul editiei de primavara) – nu se compara cu nici o alergare pe asfalt, indiferent de traseu. Iar daca esti norocos, poti sa vezi si o caprioara, un iepure, un fazan sau vreo bufnita imbufnata. 🙂
La ce sa se astepte un incepator de la traseele Baneasa Forest Run? Ce “sanse” are sa se rataceasca :)?
Sa se astepte la o provocare cu satisfactii pe masura. Aerul din padure este mai respirabil, iar padurea in sine este un cadru natural cu multiple beneficii pentru corp si minte. Japonezii au o practica menita sa-i faca mai fericiti. Se cheama baie de padure. Este demonstrat ca orice iesire intr-un cadru natural are beneficii multiple. Altfel, pentru picioare, provocarea este data de curbele multiple, denivelarile, micile obstacole care fac alergarea putin mai solicitanta. Se folosesc mai multe grupe de muschi.
De ratacit sunt sanse mici. Este cosmarul oricarui organizator, sa nu se rataceasca participantii… asa ca traseul este foarte bine marcat. Avem grija mare la acest lucru.
Cand incepe organizarea unei astfel de competitii? Care sunt cele mai dificile provocari pentru echipa?
Organizarea este non-stop. Nu exista pauze prea mari. Lucrurile se fac intr-o anumite ordine. De aceea treaba incepe cu cel putin jumatate de an inainte de fiecare eveniment. Incepem cu fixarea datei, depunerea cererilor pentru autorizatii, facem/schimbam trasee daca e cazul, cautam produse pentru kit, mai rafinam conceptul, facem brainstorming pentru idei noi, facem planul de comunicare, pregatim inscrierile, vorbim cu partenerii si as putea sa continui cu inca 30 de activitati, dar cred ca as plictisi cititorii. Asa ca sar la pasul final, care vine dupa eveniment, si anume, evaluarea lui din toate punctele de vedere, feedback participanti, parteneri, sponsori.
Organizarea unui eveniment e ca o linie de piese de domino. Asezi, cu rabdare, piesa cu piesa, timp de cateva ore, ca apoi sa impingi prima piesa si totul sa curga frumos timp de cateva secunde.
Cine este in spatele Baneasa Forest Run?
Bogdan Ionita, Bogdan Costache, Florin Plesea, Edi Asofiei sunt alergatorii de serviciu si oamenii care formeaza echipa de baza cu care tinem permanent legatura, alergam, ne consultam. Cornel Pochiu si Irina Anton, echipa Fisheye, furnizorul nostru de servicii de grafica, dar si foto. Bogdan Ionescu, Alexandra Calin si Catalin Lungu sunt de asemenea colaboratori de baza. Noi, oamenii din spatele birourilor: Theodor Manolache, Catalina Catescu, Irina Manolache. Peste 100 de voluntari la fiecare eveniment sunt parte din echipa in cele 2 zile (marcare traseu, inmanare kituri si ziua evenimentului).

Nu depunem eforturi sa aducem sportivi de performanta la start. Ne bucura insa cand vedem ca vin sa alerge si ei de placere. Pentru ca aici sunt fanii lor, aici este audienta lor. Este o ocazie sa alerge alaturi de ei. Oameni ca Marius Ionescu, Ionut Zinca, Alexandru Corneschi, Robert Hajnal si multi altii cu perfomante sau cu notorietate in alergare sunt bineveniti oricand.
Daca ai trai in Italia in ce zona ti-ar placea sa organizezi o competitie de alergare?
In Val Gardena. Si Tirol, daca as trai in Austria.
Daca ai avea posibilitatea sa programezi vremea cum ti-ai dori sa arate ziue de 4 noiembrie?
Ar fi frumos sa fie soare si 15 grade, dar nu mi-ar strica cheful de alergat nici alta vreme. Dintre toate amintirile de la alergari, cred ca cele mai putin placute experiente au fost acelea cu caldura foarte mare. In rest, cu echipamentul potrivit, orice vreme e ok.
